Case Study: Black Country Living Museum

Experienced Energy Solutions are proud to support the Black Country Living Museum on their mission to become Net Zero.

EES Solution

We are proud to work closely with the Black Country Museum who were looking for a trusted energy partner to save money, help them in achieving Net Zero and support with new connections as part of the museums growth strategy.

What EES Did

EES provided an Energy Health Check which reviewed their current bills and contractual status. We then approached the market to provide recommended renewal options for both gas and electricity meters. We’ve also helped with the set-up of a New Connection at the site which is part of a development to increase capacity into the building as they expand.
"We were keen to secure energy supplies that not only minimised our costs but also contributed to our work being carbon neutral. We're really pleased with the work of EES in helping the museum to secure new contracts, which now include a 100% renewable electricity supply at the same time as controlling the costs."

Outcomes

EES recommended a ‘Green’ electricity contract which helped the business improve their carbon footprint position, to align with their net zero and sustainability strategy, as well as establish a better understanding of future energy costs for the foreseeable future.

In doing so, they moved to an electricity contract with 100% renewable energy. This is saving the equivalent emissions of 139 cars over the course of a 3 year contract.
